The service

Red Maple Counselling offers you a safe, empathetic, non-judgemental space to experience your counselling journed. Red Maple Counselling focuses on you, your individual journey and unique experiences and is committed to putting you at at the centre of the therapeutic process. Your journey of growth and development will be supported with empathy, without judgement, and in a safe way.

As a counselling service, we aim to listen, hear and better understand how you experience the world around you. Our intention is to provide client-centred support in a safe, supportive and ethical way. All our work is carried out within the boundaries of confidentiality.

The Counsellor

As a person-centred counsellor, I feel it is important to offer you a safe, trusting environment where you are the centre of the process. This involves walking with the you on your journey in a supportive, collaborative way with your agenda as the central focus. In being a Registered Member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists, I adhere to The Ethical Framework to safe and ethical working practices.

What to talk about?

Many different concerns might be addressed during the counselling journey. There may not always be one single area of focus. As such, it’s is your choice entirely as to what you wish to discuss. Each and every individual is unique, so their journey and what brings them to counselling will also be unique. Respecting that is an important part of working with you as a counsellor.
